BIG GLOW
In Big Glow, traces of shadow and hints of light smolder, emerging from beneath translucent layers. The foreground branches act as a frame — an anchor in the earthly realm — while beyond them glows a source not yet fully revealed.
The colors are delicate yet intense — a faint, diffused radiance draws the eye, carrying the stillness that precedes revelation. The tension between dark lines and luminous areas expresses the fragile balance between the physical and the transcendent. This painting invites the viewer to rest within that in-between space — between what is seen and what is felt, between shadow and light, between acceptance and anticipation.
The viewer becomes part of the scene, both passive and active: it feels as if one lies beneath an open sky, breathing in the atmosphere. The work embodies the moment when darkness recedes and the celestial expanse opens. Big Glow oscillates between the comfort of shelter and the thrilling nearness of light.
