Artist

Ladislav Kamenický was born on October 4, 1970 in Šaľa, Slovak Republic. In 1993, he successfully completed his studies at the Faculty of Trade of the University of Economics in Bratislava and later studied at the Fellow Life Management Institute Boston in the USA.

In 2012, he became a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. In 2019–2020, he held the post of Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic. From October 2023, he became Minister of Finance for the second time, which he still holds today.

He has always been interested in world fine art and in 2014 he founded Gallery Slovakia in Bratislava, which presents the work of Slovak and foreign artists.

In 2018, he began painting himself, successfully presenting his works at several exhibitions at home and abroad.

Ladislav Kamenický's paintings are owned by many prominent Slovak and world figures in political, social and cultural life and are also part of the collections of various social institutions.
